No other invention has changed the face of Switzerland like the automobile. The new mobility of the last century gave rise not only to streets and urban areas, but also to buildings entirely dedicated to the automobile: large parking garages in the cities, motels in holiday locations and apartment buildings with underground garages.

Emil Frey was the exclusive representative of Toyota cars and forklifts for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. In February 1967 Toyota AG, newly founded in Adliswil, presented the first Corona and Corolla to the press.
