Restorations

The restoration of classic cars requires a sharp eye, years of experience and incredible dexterity. Throughout the process, we try to use as many original parts as possible to help these classic vehicles retain an elegant patina over the years. Our excellent reputation in the industry allows us to work closely with experienced specialists from many countries to ensure impeccable results for years of enjoyment.

Engine workshop

When it comes to the overhaul of engines and transmissions, preserving and maintaining an old and partly irreplaceable technology for the long term requires the highest degree of precision and years of experience. Emil Frey Classics Ltd develops tailor-made solutions for your passion project.

Engine test stand

From design to moulding and finished components, our specialists develop customised products with a great love for detail. Our specialised machines and equipment allow us to fulfil your wishes. While a common practice is to test-run an overhauled engine only once the vehicle is reassembled and returned to the customer, we ensure that the engine runs flawlessly beforehand by carrying out a fully supervised test run on our test stand.

Our facility accommodates engines of all eras, sizes and construction, be it a six-cylinder engine with several carburettors or a modern turbo engine. The test bench and related load equipment can support up to 470 kW and 1000 N-m and reach speeds up to 10,000 rpm.

Electrical workshop

Inside our electrical workshop, we take on the overhaul and repair of electronic components and also modify and create wiring harnesses. With the most diverse test machines and test benches, we are equipped to solve a multitude of electrical problems in classic vehicles.
