Automotive history on three floors

Call for submissions: Car photos and stories wanted

2026 will be a big year at the Emil Frey Classics Museum: we are rebuilding our Emil Frey history and celebrating 100 years of Jaguar in Switzerland with a special exhibition.
For these exhibitions, we are looking for old private photos of vehicles from Emil Frey’s more than 100-year history:

British brands: Jaguar/Daimler, Austin, Land Rover and Range Rover, Mini, MG, Morris, Triumph, Rover, Wolseley, Vanden Plas, Aston Martin/Lagonda, plus motorcycles from Sunbeam, BSA, Radco, Norton and HRD
Far Eastern brands: Toyota/Lexus, Subaru, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Kia, plus motorcycles from Kawasaki and Suzuki
Continental European brands: Opel, Citroën and Peugeot
May we take a look at your photo albums? We would be delighted!

Please contact our museum curator Simon Bundi directly: simon.bundi@emilfreyclassics.ch or 062 788 79 45.

Permanent Exhibition

Automotive history on three floors

For decades, Emil Frey’s car enthusiasts have been collecting historically interesting vehicles, aiming to maintain their valuable cultural heritage and preserve it for posterity. In the authentic atmosphere of a restored former textile factory, between 50 and 60 automotive gems are permanently exhibited on three floors.

The exhibition mainly focuses on collector vehicles from the 1930s to the 1980s, for the most part of English and Japanese origin. You can admire design icons, such as the Jaguar E-Type, the Toyota 2000 GT and the Aston Martin DB4 Vantage. The Classic Car Museum is a worthwhile destination for anyone who wants to experience automotive history up close.
