Description
Founded by Vincenzo Lancia in Turin in 1906, the innovative manufacturer Lancia is one of the oldest car brands in the world. Its consistently fresh designs established Lancia's reputation as the engineers' brand. Production of the Lancia Aurelia began in 1950, with its elegant and unrivalled B20 coupé available from 1951 to 1958. The delicate, flowing design is pleasing to the eye. Other beautiful details include the shape of the wind deflectors on the front side windows, installed from the sixth series onwards. In addition to the new series' contemporary body, which was built with aluminium components, the elaborately constructed chassis made the competition look outdated. The series' crowning achievement was the production of the very first V6 engine.
The sixth-series Aurelia model on offer boasts a melodic high-torque engine that delivers 112 hp – and understated charm. The story of this iconic classic car began in Portugal before it was acquired by a Swiss enthusiast in 2015. He had the restored vehicle completely overhauled by local Swiss specialists and presented it as a Veteran car in July 2025.
The exterior and interior are impressive, with both in authentic, almost-new condition. But when the smooth-sounding engine starts up, it will be clear this is a Lancia. In short: a special classic for connoisseurs.
